We have just begun our 16th year, July 1, 2022! We have much to be proud of in supporting 26 athletic programs. We have supported our men's and women's programs as well as improved the facilities to one of the best in the state of North Carolina.
This past May, we raised $79,000 in our annual golf tournament. We will soon be streaming the Friday night football games on YouTube. This service will be provided at no charge to viewers. It is supported by advertising. If you or any business is interested in advertising, our title sponsors sell for $2,000 and are seen over 60 times per game. The half-time show, pre-game, coach's show, and scoreboard sell for $1000 and are seen over 50 times per game. Patriot Jack's has sponsored the Player of the Week every week for $2500. We also have a bug program that runs a ticker tape logo throughout the games for $500. The deadline to secure a spot is July 31st.
This year, we have consolidated with the Booster Club and the Middle School athletic club for the first time. We have been very excited that we are all working together, and I think this will be a great collaboration. Mark and Jodi McDaniel are in charge of the banner program for Friday night football games for $350, please text Mark at 704-472-2338 if you are interested in a banner.
The Online Auction will begin Thursday, August 11 at 9:00 AM and end Saturday, August 13 at 6:00 PM. We have more items this year than we have had in the past to generate excitement and raise money. Instructions to register and bid will follow soon.
We initially were going to hold 4 dinners for the KMTD Club members. The 100-year anniversary of KM Football is expected to bring in 300 guests or more on Thursday, October 20 at 6:00. The cost of the anniversary dinner will be covered by the KMTD Club. Due to the extra expenses, we have decided to just host 3 dinners for the members.
The 100 Year Anniversary dinner is free to any former football players, managers, trainers, coaches, and KMTD Members. Each individual is allowed one guest over the age of 16. It is a requirement to sign up at kmfootball100years@gmail.com. You will need your current membership card and another form of identification to get through the gate. This event is not open to the public. We will have 100-year anniversary hats and shirts available for sale at the jamboree and all home football games.
This year in purchasing your membership card, you can also purchase the KM parking pass for $30. These will also be available for purchase at the games and dinners.

Another bit of exciting news! We are working with Westmoreland printers to develop a keepsake program celebrating our football history and 100 Years of Football, from 1922 to 2022. Sarah Mayse volunteered to help us gather information. She has worked diligently on this project. We thank her for her hard work!
To give you a current update, our debt is now at approximately $1.3 million. We are hoping for a record number of memberships this year as well as the streaming, programs, and online auction to help reduce this debt.
